GME maintains formal partnership agreements with leading British universities and awarding bodies. These relationships include a Global Strategic Partnership with the University of Surrey, franchise agreements with the University of Greenwich, programme delivery arrangements with the University of London, authorised representation for City & Guilds across the Middle East and Africa, and global online delivery.
Case Study
In 2017, GME commenced the development of British International University in Erbil, Iraq.
Nine years later, BIU stands as the first institution of higher education in Iraq to confer undergraduate degrees from British universities.
This achievement required sustained commitment:
navigating complex regulatory environments,
developing faculty expertise,
establishing rigorous quality assurance systems,
and building the administrative infrastructure necessary to support students from matriculation through graduation.
Today, BIU students pursue degrees in
Computer Science, Law, Business Administration, and Architectural Engineering through the University of London, alongside Medical Sciences through the University of Surrey.
Graduates continue to postgraduate study at institutions across the United Kingdom and beyond.
